Fugly Mugly
My Future. My Rules.
Why Fugly Mugly Exists
Not every fruit or veggie grows picture-perfect. Some have quirky curves, tiny bumps, or freckles that make them unique. But instead of celebrating that, the world always rejects them, and these “imperfect” foods get wasted. Farmers call them Fugly.
Here’s the hard truth: around 40% of perfectly good fruits and veggies never make it to your plate, thrown away just because they don’t look like they belong in a magazine. That’s real food going to waste and it’s fueling climate pollution we could avoid.
At FUGLY MUGLY, we’re giving the fuglies the spotlight they deserve. They’re fresh, tasty and nutritious, and way too valuable to be wasted. It’s time to rethink what “ugly” really means and stop the waste, one fruit and veggie at a time.
